A packed day of adventure in Vang Vieng, Laos! アクティビティ満載のバンビエンの1日
It’s wonderful to do nothing and just watch the sunset, but I never expected Vang Vieng to be this full of nature and fun activities! This time, I joined a package tour booked online, which made everything easy—no need to worry about transportation or what to bring. 何もせず夕日を眺めてゆっくりするのも最高ですが、バンビエンがこんなに自然豊かで、やることが盛りだくさんで楽しい場所だったとは〜〜！今回はオンラインで予約したパッケージツアーを利用したので、移動や持ち物の心配もなく、楽々でした。
It’s a bit inconvenient to reach and takes time to get here, but it has definitely become one of the places I’d highly recommend visiting. なかなか不便な場所で、行くのにも時間がかかりますが、それでもぜひおすすめしたい場所の一つになりました！ああもうラオスって最高。

I have to admit, doing all these activities on your own can be a bit of a hassle. Sure, you could rent a bike and manage everything, but it would be a lot of work. That’s why I highly recommend opting for a package tour instead! There are travel agencies all over the town where you can sign up for these tours, so you don’t have to worry about it while you’re still in Japan. Of course, booking your local tour online in advance might be more convenient, especially since you can use your credit card.
正直、これらすべてのアクティビティをひとりでこなすのはかなり面倒。レンタルバイクを使えばできなくもないけど、やっぱり大変です。だからこそ、パッケージツアーをおすすめしたいです！バンビエンの街中には、どこにでも旅行代理店があって、現地に着いてからすぐ申し込めます。もちろん、日本にいるうちにオンラインで現地ツアーを予約しておくのも便利で、クレジットカードが使えるのでより楽ちん。
1. Kayaking Along the Nam Song River (ナムソン川に沿ってカヤック)
Our first adventure was kayaking along the Nam Song River, and it was absolutely stunning! Paddling through the crystal-clear water while surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains was something out of a dream. The peaceful flow of the river contrasted with the towering cliffs, making it feel like a scene from a postcard.
最初の冒険はナムソン川でのカヤック。美しい景色に囲まれて、透き通った水を漕いで進むのは夢のようでした。川の穏やかな流れと、迫力のある石灰岩の山々が対照的で、まるで絵葉書の一場面のような景色でした。もう山のシルエットが日本と全然違うこととか、途中にスイギュウやヤギ、牛が見られることとか、キレイな水の中泳げることとか…何もかもが楽しかった。
2. Zipline (ジップライン)
Next, we soared through the jungle on a zipline. Flying over the treetops, the rush of wind and the view of the lush greenery below was exhilarating. It felt like I was on an adventure movie set! The thrill was intense, but it was also a lot of fun to experience the jungle from such a high vantage point.
次はジップライン！ジャングルを越えて空を飛びました。木々の間をすり抜ける風の感覚と、下に広がる緑の景色は興奮しました。まるで冒険映画のセットにいるような気分でした。スリル満点でしたが、こんな高い場所からジャングルを眺めるのは本当に楽しかったです。何よりもそのジップラインのスタート地点まで自分の足で高所を移動するのが何より怖いｗアドベンチャー！
3. Angel Cave (エンジェルCave ຖ້ຳນອນ ຂີ່ສະລິງ)
After the zipline, we visited Angel Cave. The cave was mystical, with sparkling stalactites and stalagmites. It was slightly tricky to climb, but definitely worth it when we reached the inside. The cool air inside was a refreshing contrast to the hot jungle outside. The tranquility of the cave made it one of my favorite spots of the day!
ジップラインを終えた後は、Angel Caveへ。洞窟内は幻想的で、キラキラと輝く鍾乳石と石筍が迎えてくれました。少し登ったり下ったり、狭いところをとおるのが大変でしたが、洞窟の中はひんや～～りしていて、外の暑さとのギャップが心地よかったです。静かな空間がとても癒される場所でした。
4. Than None Cave (洞窟チュービング)
One of the most unique experiences of the day was tubing through Than None Cave. We were given rubber tubes and floated through the dark cave while the guide led the way with a flashlight. It was a surreal experience—drifting silently through the cave with just the sound of water splashing around. It felt like I was part of an ancient adventure.
この日の中で最もユニークな体験の一つが、Than None Caveでの洞窟チュービングでした。ゴムのチューブに乗って、ガイドの flashlight の光を頼りに暗い洞窟の中を浮かびながら進みました。静寂の中で、水の音だけが響くのはまるで古代の冒険の一部になったような気分でした。
5. Blue Lagoon 2 (ブルーラグーン2に追加料金を払って入場)
To top off the day, we visited Blue Lagoon 2. This place was incredibly beautiful, with crystal-clear waters that had a striking turquoise color. There was a small entrance fee, but it was absolutely worth it. Swimming in the lagoon surrounded by nature felt so refreshing after a full day of adventure. It was a perfect place to relax and cool off.
そして、1日の締めくくりにはブルーラグーン2へ。ここは本当に美しい場所で、透き通ったターコイズ色の水が目を引きました。少し追加料金がかかりますが、それでも行く価値は十分にありました。冒険の1日を終えた後、自然に囲まれたラグーンで泳ぐのはとても爽快でした。リラックスするには完璧な場所。この飛び込み台5～6メートルはあるかと思いますが…勇気を振り絞りやってみました！！！最高！
Final Thoughts (最後の感想)
The best part of the day wasn’t just the adventure—it was the amazing people I met along the way. Joining an English-speaking tour was such a great choice because it gave me the chance to chat and bond with fellow travelers from all over the world. We laughed, shared stories, and encouraged each other during the activities. It’s always special to meet new people who share the same spirit of adventure.
アクティビティだけでなく、一緒にツアーに参加した人たちとの交流が最高でした。英語のツアーに参加したおかげで、世界中から集まった旅行者たちと話したり、絆を深めることができました。活動中はお互いに笑い合い、ストーリーを交換し、励まし合うことができてとても楽しかったです。同じ冒険心を持った人たちに出会えることって、本当に特別ですね。
I truly hope our paths cross again someday, somewhere in the world.
