Well, this place is awesome and really enjoyed my time here.
-First of all, the communication before arriving here was very easy and fluent. After almost one year as a workawayer I’ve messaged many hosts that never replied or replied months later, but everytime I messaged Haz she answered very fast. This is very important to me, as it shows the place is serious and the manager professional. And of course, makes way easier to make plans in advance.
-The work is very easy. The hostel is quite new and the staff always has taken good care of it so everything is clean and tidy. It’s only three things: general cleaning (toilets/showers, floors), bed making and check-ins. Both cleaning and bed making can be finished quite fast so most of the time is just about relax and wait for the check ins.
-The hostel itself is probably the best where I’ve been. Very clean, tidy and has everything you could need. You can meet a lot of people from all around the world and enjoy food or visit places with them (Miyajima, you can go there as many times as you want and it’s always going to be amazing). It’s just a few streets from the A-Dome and Peace Museum, and walkable distance to pretty much everything you could need in the city (main station, clubs, restaurants, shops…)
-The rest of the staff is just perfect, they are very nice and always want to help you. I’m going to miss you all.
Summarizing, this is a lovely place and city and so are the rest of people working here, if you are not sure if you should come here do it, and do your best.
