I stayed here for almost a month and my stay couldn’t be better. The location of the hostel is great, you can get to the Atomic Dome and the Peace Park in like 5 minutes. Hazuki, the owner, is super nice and helpful and managed to build a perfect hostel. I traveled through Japan quite a lot and I can honestly say that was by far the best hostel I stayed in. The beds are spacious, comfortable and you have your privacy. There is a big kitchen (which is generally not a standard thing in Japanese hostels) and the whole place is clean and filled with a positive energy.
As a workawayer you get to meet many people from countries all over the world, make new friends and you have enough time to enjoy Hiroshima and everything it has to offer. The work here is easy and reasonable, it is mainly cleaning the beds and general facilities and working at the receptions (doing check-ins mainly).
I really enjoyed my time in Hiroshima and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to work in your hostel, Hazuki. 🙂
I’m definitely coming back one day. And if you have a chance to work here, don’t hesitate, it will be worth it. 🙂
