Fishes are cheap here!
Fishes in Hiroshima… I can’t help buying them because all of them look delicious.
It was my first time to see “yazu” after I moved here. I didn’t have any clue about this fish. Yazu? Yazu???? In fact it was a fry of a yellowtail.
The fish gets different Japanese names according to their stage of growth in Japan. In Shikoku, Yamaguchi and Hiroshima, the name of the fish changes like this: yazu→hamachi→buri. Wow!
Look at this. A flatfish looks delicious, too♡ There is a communal kitchen at the hostel, so please cook a flatfish in soy sauce for me. I’ll get seasonings by our inauguration. Tableware is already ready.
Nodoguro, hilgendorf saucord, is a prized fish, isn’t it? There are a bunch of them at the ordinary supermarket!!! I can’t believe it!
Furthermore, it feels like there are many fish-paste products at the supermarkets. Because Hiroshima is located near the ocean, there are many kinds of fish. Needless to say, there are many kinds of fish-paste products, too.
Not only the souvenir shops, but also check out the fish section at the supermarket to see the dietary culture of the place! So, please visit the fish section at the supermarket in Hiroshima.
