楽しみにしていた宮島に日帰りで行ってきました！フェリーを降りるとすぐにモヒートを売っているお店を発見。この暑さだし、飲んじゃうよね～～
We finally decided to head over to miyajima for the day! As soon as we stepped off the ferry we found a place sellling mojitos – and in this heat, we couldn’t say no!
島に住んでいる鹿が私たちと同じくらいモヒートが好きだとは…. We didn’t expect the deer which live on the island to love mojitos as much as we did!
鹿たちはずっとついてきました。さすが、いい酒わかってるね！They followed us everywhere – they clearly have good taste!
宮島にはぜひ試してほしい美味しい食べ物がたくさん。これはもみじ饅頭！たい焼きみたいなデザートで、中にあんこ、カスタード、チョコレートなど、美味しいものがたっぷり詰まっています！大好き。Mijyajima has some incredible foods to try – this is momiji! A kind of battered taiyaki style dessert, filled with red bean paste, or custard, or chocolate or anything delicious! We LOVED it!
宮島は新鮮な牡蠣でも有名です！生牡蠣はちょっと怖くて食べられなかったけど、ここでは焼き牡蠣が楽しめて、本当に美味しかったです！レモンジュースと七味唐辛子をかけて、まさに天国の味～～！Miyajima is also known for its incredibly fresh oysters! I’ve always been too scared to try raw oysters, but here you can get them grilled and they were DELICIOUS! Topped with lemon juice and togorashi, totally heavenly!!
カキフライも試してみた。これもまた美味。イギリスで食べるフィッシュアンドチップスを思い出しました（でも、もっと美味しかった！）。We even tried deep fried oysters which were also delcious – reminded me of Fish and chips back home in the uk (but better!)
日差しを避けるために、地元のビールを試すことにしました。宮島ブルワリーは素晴らしいクラフトビールを作っていて、ブラッドはいくつか試してみました。見ての通りの大満足！Seeeking shelter from the sun we thought it was only right to try some local beers! Miyajima brewery produces some awesome craft beers – brad decided to try a few, as you can tell, he was very happy about this!
私は代わりにフレッシュレモンチューハイを頼みました。このバー（ゲブラ）にカップを持って戻ると、2杯目がたったの200円で飲めるんです！鹿たちもこの音に興味津々でした！I went for a fresh lemon chu -hi instead, if you brought the cups back to this bar (Gebura) you could get a second drink for just two hundred yen! Turns out the Deer also liked the sound of this too!
宮島で一番有名なのはおそらく厳島神社でしょう。潮が満ちると鳥居が浮いているように見えて、本当に美しい。島全体が訪れる価値があります。大いにおすすめしますし、また行くと思う。Itsukushima shrine is probably what Miyajima is most famous for – with the tide in the torii gate appears to be floating and is absolutely beautiful! The island is absolutely worth a visit, we would highly recommend and cant wait to come back!
