Merle, aka Mel-chan, officially started working with us today! So happy to have her on the team. And this morning, both Tarek and Sagi decided to extend their stay That always makes my day.
A special thank you to Tarek for choosing a long-term stay with us — it really means a lot. Seeing guests turn into familiar faces, and then almost into family, is one of the best parts of running this hostel
On top of that, Hinaho’s friend is also staying with us, so the house feels extra full and warm today. It’s one of those mornings where I pause and think… wow, we are surrounded by good people.

特にTarekさん @tarekduensing 、長期滞在ありがとう〜！長くいてくれるゲストがいるって、それだけで空間があたたかくなる。だんだん顔なじみになって、もはや家族みたいになっていく感じが、ホステルをやっていて一番好きなところかもしれません
さらに、ひなほ @ksbi_naho のお友達も泊まりにきてくださっていて、今日はなんだか人のご縁がぎゅっと詰まった朝。

今日は珍しく私がシフトインしてるということもあって、大掃除…じゃないけど、いらないものを捨てまくっています。どうしてこんなに物が増えていくの！！！みんな勝手に置いていくんだから！！！！いらない服、いらない靴（くさい）、クレーンゲームで取ったでっかいぬいぐるみ、カードゲーム、ボードゲーム。。。
もーーー！
Today I’m actually on shift, which doesn’t happen that often, so I’ve been going on a big throwing-things-away spree. Not exactly a full deep clean, but close. Why do things keep multiplying like this!!! People just leave stuff here all the time!!!! Unwanted clothes, old shoes (and they smell), giant stuffed toys from crane games, card games, board games…
Come on!!!
ていうかこれ捨てるの、お金かかってるんだからね！！！
And by the way, it actually costs money to throw this stuff away!!!
スウェーデンから来てくれたお二人 そしてドイツのスタッフ、メルちゃん 最近のホステルはこんな感じで、ラウンジではいろんな国の言葉が飛び交いながら、真面目な話もくだらない話も本気で盛り上がっています キッチンでは誰かがコーヒーを淹れていて、ソファでは次の旅先の相談、そして突然はじまる文化トーク。ショットの掛け声の話で爆笑したり、静かな夜には将来の話をしたり。毎日がちいさな国際交流。カールが素敵に作ってくれたジャーナルの1ページも宝物です 折り鶴やチケット、名刺やメモがぎゅっと詰まっていて、その時その瞬間の空気まで閉じ込められているみたい。こうやって人が出会って、話して、笑って、去っていく。その繰り返しがホステルの空気をつくっているんだなあとしみじみ思う最近です。

The lounge is filled with different languages, deep conversations mixed with completely silly ones Someone is making coffee in the kitchen, someone else is planning their next destination, and suddenly we’re comparing drinking chants from different countries. Loud laughter one moment, quiet life talks the next. It’s small-scale international exchange happening every single day. Karl created a beautiful journal page filled with tickets, business cards, notes and even an origami crane. It captures the exact atmosphere of that moment. People meet, talk, share, and eventually move on — and that constant flow is what creates the unique vibe of the hostel.
