THE EVERGREEN HOSTEL オーナーのはづきです。ホステルを立ち上げて、この度8周年を迎えました。たしかオフィシャルでは6/10が記念日なんですけど、このあたりの日からヌルっと練習で開店してたので適当に今日これを投稿してみました。このこだわりのなさのお陰で多分いい感じに続いてるんでしょうね。
I’m Hazuki, the owner of THE EVERGREEN HOSTEL. We’ve just celebrated our 8th anniversary since we started the hostel. I think the official anniversary is 10th, but we started practicing around that time, so I just posted this today. I think this kind of easy going mind is the key to this hostel lol.
泊まってくれたゲストのみんな、この1年働いてくれていたスタッフ、地域のみなさま、もと同僚、もと上司、家族に友達たち…いつもエバーグリーンホステルのことを気にかけてくださって本当にありがとうございます。
コロナで借りまくった借金も、今月返し終わります。だれか褒めて！笑
To all the guests who have stayed with us, the staff who have worked here this year, the local community, my former colleagues and superiors, my family and friends… thank you so much for always caring about Evergreen Hostel.
This month I’ll be paying off all the debts I’ve incurred during COVID-19. Someone praise me! Lol
スタッフとしてきたいです！とかほぼ毎日のようにたくさんお問い合わせがきます。全員お迎えできないのが心苦しいほどです。あと5軒ぐらいホステル建てればいいのかな？（そうじゃないだろ）
“I want to be a staff member! ” I get a lot of inquiries almost every day. I feel bad that I can’t welcome all of them. Should I build five more hostels? ( I really wish I could)
みなさんふだん見てくれてるとおり、ガンガンに自分も海外旅行してます。年6とかで行ってます。その度に、やっぱり旅ってサイコーと思います。そこでの出会いとか、再会とか、大事です。そういう気持ちでホステル始めたんたったよなって、毎回リセットされる気がします。As you all know, I travel abroad a lot. about six times a year. Every time I do, I think that travel is the best thing in my life. The encounters and reunions… that’s the feeling I had when I started the hostel.
「宿は人と人が交流できるたまり場です。泊まっている人も、そうでない地元の方も、いろんな人が集まって、地元の方と宿泊者の方の距離が近い場所になればなと思います。」と当時のクラウドファンディングサイトに記載したことがあります。今もまったく気持ちが変わっていません。観光地を訪れる以外にもあれこれさりげない楽しみが散らばっていることを発信できるローカルなホステルであり続けることが一番大切です。9年目もよろしくお願いいたします♥️
