Today, I\u2019d like to introduce \u201cShimanami Kaido.\u201d\u00a0 It\u2019s a road that connects small islands in the Seto Inland Sea.\u00a0 It\u2019s a famous place to take a bike ride. 🚴🚴🚴<\/p>\n

Well, there are 4 sights that you must see in Shimanami Kaido.\u00a0 They are \u201cOnomichi,\u201d \u201dShimanami,\u201d \u201cKamijima\u201d and \u201cImabari.\u201d
\nThis time, I enjoyed cycling and swimming in the sea in Onomichi area.<\/p>\n

You can rent a bicycle in Setoda Sunset Beach.
\nOf course, you can bring your own bicycle!
\nFor your safety, it\u2019s better to wear a helmet.<\/p>\n

\nThe first destination is Tatara Ohashi (Bridge) in front of us.<\/p>\n

The bridge seemed so close, yet so far away.
\nNot the distance, but the gentle slope was unexpectedly killing me.<\/p>\n

There is a field of citrus fruits on either side of the road 🍊🍊🍊
\nI was amazed by the variation of the fruits, but I couldn\u2019t pay attention to such a thing.
\nI had to pedal a bicycle and move forward.\u00a0 Help, I couldn\u2019t stop sweating!
\nAnd then, I finally arrived at Tatara Ohashi, the fourth bridge from Onomichi!<\/p>\n

I felt the pleasant breeze while I was on the bridge.
\nThe reason I pedaled the bicycle uphill and groaned was to expose myself to the wind!
\nYou can feel the cool autumn breeze after Obon holiday (the middle of August) although it\u2019s still summer.
\nIt was very pleasant.<\/p>\n

There is a border between Hiroshima and Ehime in the middle of the bridge. You can cross the border on foot
\nI had a precious experience.<\/p>\n

The cycling blown by a refreshing breeze was like a flash.
\nI wanted to enjoy the breeze more, so I thought about heading for the next bridge\u2026
\nBut I didn\u2019t have much time, so I decided to go back to Setoda Sunset Beach.<\/p>\n

Next, it\u2019s time for swimming in the sea🏖<\/p>\n

It was already late afternoon.
\nThe sea temperature was still warm, and I enjoyed swimming in the sea.
\nThe waves were gentle perhaps it is located in the Seto Inland Sea. Here, little children can swim without any danger.<\/p>\n

Local people told me that you can catch small fish and crabs with your hands at low tide.
\nYou can enjoy the different attractions in the early afternoon and in the late afternoon.<\/p>\n

The sun went down slowly.
\nI left for home after watching the sunset.
\nThe island was so picturesque!
\nI highly recommend you to go there once\u266a<\/p>\n
