\u25a0 October 16th<\/sup>, 2015 \u00a0Going to Hiroshima<\/p>\n As soon as I had done my job on Friday, I hurried back home and crammed PC and clothes into the bag and headed to West Exit of Shinjuku Station.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It was my second time to take an overnight bus to Hiroshima.\u00a0 It\u2019s hard and painful.\u00a0 It\u2019s like a training.<\/p>\n It\u2019s a sweatshop to make frequent business trips like this\u2026\u00a0 (I decided though)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Moreover, the bus turns off the lights at 9:00 p.m.\u00a0 How fast!<\/p>\n I can\u2019t go to sleep at 9:00 p.m.<\/p>\n However, it\u2019s very helpful that the bus arrives at Hiroshima Station early in the morning.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I was about to get sick from an economy-class syndrome and I dropped by at my house in Hiroshima with an unsteady walk.\u00a0 I took a shower and left for the property.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Husband: \u201cNot that this is anything new\u2026\u00a0 But you\u2019re so busy\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n Me: \u201cWell, I\u2019m sorry that I\u2019m bustling around the house.\u00a0 Suppose I\u2019m a dream or something!\u00a0 Bye!<\/p>\n Husband: \u201cYeah, right.\u00a0 Have a nice day.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u25a0 October 17th<\/sup>, 2015\u00a0 Found advisors of designing!<\/p>\n It was a crystalline autumn sky in Hiroshima.<\/p>\n At 11:30 a.m. \u00a0I greeted Mr. Ando, an architect. \u00a0We exchanged cards.\u00a0 He looked younger than the photo on the website.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m sorry, but I specialize in housing.\u00a0 I think a person who is good at designing stores should handle this.\u00a0 So, I\u2019ll take my colleague with me today to the sight inspection of the property.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n How nice!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mr. Ando has a fascinating personality because he meets me in person and follows the entire project without leaving it with his colleague.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019ll be a long way to go, but our housing team is strong in some of the interior construction (such as small objects), so I\u2019ll get involved with you more then.\u201d<\/p>\n Aha.\u00a0 There\u2019s a team which is good at stores and a team which is good at housing.\u00a0 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth\u2026?<\/p>\n It\u2019s just fun to learn something that I don\u2019t know.\u00a0 I remembered people whom I exchanged words with over store development.\u00a0 They were maybe a team that handles stores.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n While I was talking about my ideas and rough outlines, another designer came to our table. \u00a0He was called by Mr. Ando.\u00a0 His name was Mr. Miyazaki, who had a detailed knowledge of store designing.\u00a0 I couldn\u2019t thank them enough for getting along with a suspicious stranger like me.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n While we were walking toward the property, Mr. Ando told me the very important thing.<\/p>\n \u201cA town near here, \u2018Tokaichi\u2019 is powerful.\u00a0 There are so many nice cafes and stores that are featured on a magazine. \u00a0There is also a map of the shopping street like this.\u00a0 Please take a look.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The map of the town was a surprisingly cool design.<\/p>\n (I walked here slowly again at night.\u00a0 It was an atmospheric \u201ctown.\u201d)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Then, I met Mr. N to do a sight inspection. \u00a0He was amazed to see two men and said \u201cDid you have designers to help you?\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I had seen many photos before, so I didn\u2019t feel like it was my first time to enter the property\u2026\u00a0 Mr. Ando and Mr. Miyazaki had different views compared to me.\u00a0 Especially, Mr. Miyazaki was a professional in store designing, so (it seemed that) he was checking disaster prevention equipment.\u00a0 The number and location of emergency lighting equipment, checking the building structure for smoke elimination, etc.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n After that, we inspected Property C together.\u00a0 They said they need a week to send me the design and rough estimate for the two properties.\u00a0 I feel like I\u2019ve gone ahead.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n At night, I visited the website of the company where Mr. Ando is working and I noticed that I was on Instagram.<\/p>\n\n
