Hi, I’m the owner, Hazuki.<\/p>\n

Tomoko-chan and I happened to become friends at driving school (!) and together we went to an owl caf\u00e9 in Hiroshima.\u00a0 Tomoko-chan just loves owls.\u00a0 It was a debut for me.<\/p>\n

Tomoko-chan is a local girl, born and bred in Honkawacho.\u00a0 Perhaps she knows good\u00a0 okonomiyaki<\/em> restaurants in the area.
\n\u201cAny okonomiyaki<\/em> in Honkawacho would meet your expectations, but if I must choose, I would pick those two places\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Personally, this whatyoumaycallit owl had the most beautiful feathers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each owl sits on the perch, kept on a lead.\u00a0 There is no flying around but some owls lift their wings and flap\u2026(I was actually taken aback as it was so close to me).\u00a0Touching is not allowed (well, it\u2019s rather scary for their hocked bill).\u00a0 You can take pictures but without a flash, naturally.<\/p>\n

\nA bird of prey, it\u2019s huge and cool.\u00a0 When feeding with a baby quail or the like, it made some crunching sound\u2026. But its cry was like a seagull.

A party of various types of owls on the perch.\u00a0 (The one in the front glaring was a barn owl, very active and full of curiosity.)<\/p>\n

Sleeping barn owls.\u00a0 Standing on one leg shows they are relaxed.\u00a0 Tomoko-chan knows a lot of raptors and taught me so much but alas, I have forgotten most of it.<\/p>\n

Birds of prey, they are interesting.\u00a0 Some owls glare at you but others doze off and look so cute. Comforting.\u00a0 Fancy dropping by?\u00a0 It\u2019s best to book on weekends and holidays.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
