{"id":3496,"date":"2016-05-24T16:11:08","date_gmt":"2016-05-24T07:11:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/evergreenhostel.com\/?p=3496"},"modified":"2016-05-24T16:11:08","modified_gmt":"2016-05-24T07:11:08","slug":"hostel-making-story4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/evergreenhostel.com\/en\/2016\/05\/24\/hostel-making-story4\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Hostel Making Story4"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\">Hi. \u00a0I am Hazuki, the owner of THE EVERGREEN HOSTEL.\u00a0 I\u2019m writing how this hostel was made based on the writings that I had accumulated in the past.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u25a0 July 15<sup>th<\/sup>, 2015\u00a0 Started looking for the property (the latter part of the story)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I received cold reactions from most of the real-estate agents that I had visited.\u00a0 However, \u201cCompany G\u201d that I visited last of all was different. \u00a0Mr. N, department manager, attended to me in a friendly manner.\u00a0He listened without interrupting me, and then he said,<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">\u201cWow, I didn\u2019t know this type of business until now.\u00a0 I have no experience with the business, but sounds like fun!\u00a0 I\u2019ll look for properties for you.\u00a0 You\u2019re not telling a joke, right?\u00a0 Somehow you have the atmosphere of making this project possible. \u00a0Ha ha ha!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It might be fate that has brought us together.<\/p>\n<p>He explained the process of contract after he found the good property.\u00a0 He also gave me a brochure about a loan for a new business.\u00a0 \u201cA salesperson from Japan Finance Corporation visited a few days ago and gave me this.\u00a0 It\u2019s a present for you.\u00a0 Take it home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It might be fate that has brought us together.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u25a0 July 16<sup>th<\/sup>, 2015\u00a0 About Mr. N, department manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d like to make a supplementary statement about Mr. N, department manager of \u201cCompany G\u201d that I visited yesterday.\u00a0 I got a feeling that he is going to be a key person.He kindly listened to my new business that he didn\u2019t know at all.<span style=\"color: #008000;\">\u201cAh, it\u2019s different from a manga cafe (a coffee shop with a manga library) and a capsule hotel.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>Furthermore, he showed interest in my new business.<\/p>\n<p>After we talked a lot (I think I was there for more than an hour), I told him about cold reactions at real-estate agents on that day.\u00a0 And then, he said with a smile, <span style=\"color: #008000;\">\u201cTo be honest, people feel suspicious about you when they get a suspicious-looking business card.\u00a0 You have to give the business card of the company where you \u2019re working right now.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Me: \u201cI\u2019m going to quit my current job and planning to begin a business by myself, so I thought it\u2019s not good to use the current company\u2019s name.\u00a0 That\u2019s why I didn\u2019t give the business card of the current company\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Mr. N: \u201c<strong>Are you an idiot?\u00a0<\/strong> You\u2019ll miss a chance if you don\u2019t use everything in your power including the reliability of the company!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I didn\u2019t feel like it was my first time to meet him because he gave me the accurate feedback.\u00a0 It\u2019s very difficult to find a person who can express his or her true opinion from the first.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I told him these two things:<br \/>\n\u30fbI can launch full preparations toward the hostel inauguration from December, but I\u2019ll prepare as much as possible by then.<br \/>\n\u30fbI\u2019m very aware of the importance of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">timing and luck<\/span> about finding a good property, so I want him to let me know as soon as possible if there\u2019s a good property.\u00a0 I\u2019m willing to come to Hiroshima from Tokyo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m just lucky that I can meet with good people.\u00a0 I always meet with someone who is willing to help me.\u00a0 It was lucky that Mr. N was a department manager, too.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know how far he has the final word on the decision, but a chance to talk with a department manager has a positive impact on making a good hostel.\u00a0 He has \u201ca long experience in his career,\u201d which means that he has a lot of knowledge about properties, strong relationships with landlords, and a speedy response, etc.\u00a0 I think he\u2019s related to all of them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In any case, you have to have a lucky break to meet with good people.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi. \u00a0I am Hazuki, the owner of THE EVERGREEN HOSTEL.\u00a0 I\u2019m writing how this hostel was made based on the writings that I had accumulated in the past. &nbsp;
