Do you know what is LCC, a low-cost carrier?
\n\u201cI\u2019ve heard of it, but I\u2019ve never used it before.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s about an airplane, right?\u201d
\nI think many of you are like this. Yes, it\u2019s an airline which has a lower fare because of its minimum service.<\/p>\n

Did you know that LCC airplanes is in service at Hiroshima Airport???<\/p>\n

As of Spring in 2016, one of the low-cost carriers called Spring Airlines Japan is in service. Its nickname, Spring Japan, is often used in the airport announcement.<\/p>\n

Green wings are impressive. Spring Japan is the only company that doesn\u2019t get funding from either JAL or ANA, which are two leading airlines in Japan.\u00a0 Japan\u2019s LCCs (Peach Aviation, Jetstar Airways and Vanilla Air) are all affiliated companies of the leading airlines.<\/p>\n

***Well\u2026 it\u2019s really cheap\u2026<\/p>\n

Spring Japan has 3 kinds of fares: \u201cSpring Plus,\u201d \u201cSpring\u201d and \u201cLucky Spring.\u201d Cancellation fee and the weight of check-in baggage are different, so it\u2019s better to check by your own when you book the airplane ticket.<\/p>\n

Anyway, \u201cLucky Spring\u201d is really lucky, so I felt something is wrong at first. It\u2019s cheap because \u201cthe fee is on SALE,\u201d which means the fee doesn\u2019t accept changes nor refund.\u00a0 You can check in a small baggage, but not a big one.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t get surprised. It was not exceeding 5,000 yen from Narita to Hiroshima Airport on Monday, April 18th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Lucky Spring!!\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Hey, hey!\u00a0 What is going on right here?\u00a0 Believe it or not, it was not exceeding 5,000 yen.\u00a0 Cool, right?\u00a0 It\u2019s cheaper than taking a bus.\u00a0 It\u2019s cheaper than taking the expressway bus, which is painful!<\/h4>\n

You have to check in 35 minutes before departure and you can\u2019t take an airplane if you are late. It\u2019s very strict.\u00a0 I got a strong warning once when I arrived at the airport barely in time.lol \u00a0\u00a0Right, people who use LCC need to understand LCC\u2019s simple posture, \u201cwe can\u2019t keep fees low every time we wait passengers who are late!\u201d<\/p>\n

***\u2026 Is LCC safe?<\/p>\n

Well, it\u2019s difficult to say it is or it isn\u2019t. However, in my opinion, I think it\u2019s \u201can ordinary airline.\u201d \u00a0Go to the airport in time and check in at the counter or by using the machine.\u00a0 There is no difference.<\/p>\n

Some of you may be worried about the safety, but as of now, I think there\u2019s no evidence for \u201cleading airlines are safe, but LCCs are not.\u201d I think it\u2019s more important to consider the difference in fare because it\u2019s very strict about check-in baggage and cancellation fee.\u00a0 And don\u2019t forget about \u201cthe cost and time to get to downtown of Tokyo from Narita Airport.\u201d<\/p>\n
