We are a small and welcoming hostel that has been running for 10 years in the heart of Hiroshima. Our guests come from all over the world, creating a vibrant, international atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Just a 5-minute walk from the world-famous Atomic Bomb Dome and easy access to Miyajima Island?both UNESCO World Heritage Sites?our hostel is perfectly located for exploring both the historical and natural beauty of the region.<\/p>\n

*We only accept one volunteer at a time and do not accept short stays.<\/p>\n

\u25a0Minimum Stay:6 weeks minimum (up to 3 months)
\nA Japanese Working Holiday, Student, or Work Visa is required.

\nThis is not just a cleaning position.
\nThe core value of our hostel is creating connections between people from different countries and cultures.<\/p>\n

We are looking for someone who is social, proactive, and genuinely enjoys interacting with guests. If you prefer waiting for instructions or spending most of your free time alone, this may not be the right fit.<\/p>\n

\u25a0Your Main Responsibilities
\nCleaning
\n\u30fbCleaning dormitories, toilets, showers, kitchen, and common areas
\n\u30fbMaking beds and maintaining hostel cleanliness<\/p>\n

Guest Interaction (Very Important)
\n\u30fbWelcoming guests with a smile
\n\u30fbStarting conversations during check-in and throughout the day
\n\u30fbTalking with Japanese guests in simple English
\n\u30fbGreeting guests whenever they enter or leave
\n\u30fbHelping create a friendly atmosphere in the lounge
\n\u30fbEncouraging communication between guests<\/p>\n

Reception
\n\u30fbProviding basic information about the hostel and Hiroshima<\/p>\n

Content Creation
\n\u30fbAt least 2 Instagram posts per week
\n\u30fbWriting occasional travel-related content<\/p>\n

Event Support
\n\u30fbHelping with language exchange events and community activities<\/p>\n

\nMost of our guests are international travelers, and there are relatively few Japanese guests.<\/p>\n

If your primary goal is to improve your Japanese language skills or experience daily life mainly through interaction with locals, this may not be the best placement for you.<\/p>\n

If you love meeting people from around the world and helping create memorable experiences for travelers, we’d love to hear from you.<\/p>\n

\n\u30fbA bed in our dormitory, shared with our guests. (No private rooms available.)
\n\u30fbHourly wage: 1,000 yen\/hour (available only for working holiday visa holders).
\n\u30fbUnlimited free internet access.
\n\u30fbOne bath towel per week.
\n\u30fbPasta and seasoning (currently we do not provide rice)
